Strict Workspace Separation
Your user account can belong to multiple workspaces, but data never crosses workspace lines. Every database query enforces strict isolation.
Built with strict architectural boundaries, server-side permission controls, and secure data practices to safeguard your business information.
At MorrisDesk, security is not an afterthought or a marketing badge. We design software architectures that enforce data protection by default. Every feature is constructed around strict boundaries to keep your contact records, pipelines, and notes secure and confidential.
Your user account can belong to multiple workspaces, but data never crosses workspace lines. Every database query enforces strict isolation.
Membership and role permissions are verified on the server for every request, preventing unauthorized record access or modification.
Enforce visibility rules like Only Me, My Team, or Specific People directly on backend handlers to keep sensitive details restricted.
Many small business owners manage multiple ventures or act as advisors across several firms. MorrisDesk allows a single login account to participate in multiple separate workspaces. However, records, pipelines, and activities are strictly isolated at the infrastructure level. Members of one workspace can never view, search, or access records in another workspace.
Security client-side is insufficient. In MorrisDesk, user authorization and permission controls are checked on our servers for every single data request. If a user does not possess active membership and appropriate privileges for a specific record, the server rejects the request immediately.
Not every note or opportunity needs to be visible to the entire company. MorrisDesk provides record level visibility options, including Only Me, My Team, and Specific People. These privacy rules are evaluated on the server before any data is returned to the user interface.
All communication between your Web browser and MorrisDesk servers travels over encrypted HTTPS protocols. Passwords and sensitive credentials are handled securely using modern cryptographic hashing standards. We never store plain-text passwords.
Accidental deletion can ruin weeks of diligent sales work. MorrisDesk utilizes an archive-first model for record deletion. When a team member removes a contact or opportunity, it moves into an archived state rather than being permanently destroyed immediately. Authorized administrators can review or restore archived records if needed.
You maintain absolute ownership of your customer lists and interaction history. You can import data via CSV at any time and export your complete workspace dataset whenever you need. Data portability is a fundamental part of user trust.
Data security is an ongoing operational discipline, not a static certificate. We do not claim third-party audit badges or unrealistic uptime guarantees that are not established. Instead, we maintain simple, robust code patterns, perform constant monitoring, and implement conservative access controls across our system infrastructure.
We believe in straightforward policies without hidden fine print.
