Refund and Cancellation Policy
Fair, transparent rules for trial periods, plan cancellations, refunds, and workspace data.
Last updated: September 16, 2026
Policy Review Notice: This Refund and Cancellation Policy is a complete launch draft for MorrisDesk. Qualified legal counsel and the account owner must review and approve these terms prior to commercial launch.
1. 30-Day Free Trial Policy
Every new MorrisDesk workspace begins with a full-featured 30-day free trial. We do not ask for credit card details when you create your account. You will not be charged anything during the trial period.
If you choose not to subscribe to a paid plan at the end of the 30 days, your workspace simply pauses automatically. There are no surprise fees, automatic conversion charges, or hidden cancellation obligations.
2. Subscription Cancellation Rules
Account Owners can cancel a paid subscription at any time without penalty or cancellation fees. You do not need to call a sales representative or enter long-term contracts.
When you cancel a workspace subscription:
- Access Duration: Your workspace remains active and fully accessible until the conclusion of your current paid billing cycle (the end of the paid month or paid annual period).
- No Further Charges: Automatic billing renewals cease immediately upon cancellation confirmation.
- Rereactivation: Account Owners can reactivate a canceled workspace prior to scheduled data deletion by renewing the subscription plan.
3. Workspace Data Handling and Export Before Deletion
We respect your workspace content and ensure you have ample opportunity to retain your business records when ending your subscription.
When a subscription ends and the billing cycle expires:
- Export Period: Account Owners can export contacts, company profiles, opportunities, and activity history into standard file formats before workspace access closes.
- Retention Grace Window: After access expires, workspace records are safely stored in an inactive state for a scheduled retention window. This gives you time to export data or reactivate your account if needed.
- Permanent Removal: Following the retention grace window, the workspace and all associated customer records, notes, and tasks are permanently purged from active production databases.
4. Standard Refund Terms
MorrisDesk applies the following standard rules for refund requests:
- Monthly Subscriptions: The MorrisDesk Business subscription fee ($9.95 per workspace per month) is billed in advance on a recurring basis. Monthly payments are non-refundable for partial billing months, except where mandatory applicable law requires a refund.
- Subscriptions: Additional users beyond the 2 included users are billed monthly at $4.95 per user and renew automatically unless cancelled. If an Account Owner cancels a subscription within 14 calendar days of initial purchase, MorrisDesk may grant a pro-rated refund for the remaining unused time, subject to owner approval.
- Technical Billing Errors: If a technical billing glitch or duplicate transaction occurs, our support team will issue a prompt 100% refund upon verification.
5. Chargebacks and Dispute Resolution
We encourage Account Owners to contact MorrisDesk customer support directly regarding any billing questions or unrecognized charges. If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated with a credit card issuer without prior contact, workspace access may be temporarily suspended while the transaction is reviewed.
6. How to Cancel Your Subscription
Account Owners can process a subscription cancellation using either of these quick methods:
- In-App Settings: Log in to your workspace, navigate to Settings > Billing & Subscription, and click Cancel Subscription.
- Support Request: Submit a written cancellation request via our Contact Page using the email address associated with the Account Owner profile.
